Meet again at the Manor House at 5:00 p.m. where we’ll indulge in a Chili bowl supper to continue any unfinished business from the last workshop, because there’s a bit of other business to attend to and a new workshop wouldn’t get its due.
It turns out that in 1928 at the Savoy Hotel in London a leap year cocktail was invented. This gin, Grand Marnier, sweet Vermouth and fresh lemon juice cocktail is served martini-style with a lemon twist. Simple, elegant and sophisticated.
It’s good to take a break from the routines in life, isn’t it? So nice when Mother Nature (or rather human interpretation thereof) gives us a reason to do so.
Soon, the gardens will call. But today, we’ll lift a glass in toast to them and contemplate anything in our toolkit that hasn’t been addressed. ER-HEMMM!
