SlackWorks provides workshops for people of all ages interested in farms and farm skills. Our workshops cover practical topics such as seed germination, plant pruning and propagation, integrating plants into your landscape amongst ornamentals, and how to make sushi nori from your own garden vegetables. We also work with the seasons to provide fun programs such as Jabberwalking and Pier Yoga for children and adults, Micro-Watercoloring and Trail Walks as part of our Walk the Farms programs.

In 2024 our workshops will take advantage of the gardens especially:

• THE TEACHING GARDENS at Woodlawn and Jubilee Farms introduce you to plants and growing fun.

• THE INTEGRATED GARDENS show you how to interweave vegetable and herb plantings amongst the ornamentals.

• GARDEN TO SUSHI A series pf workshops getting you proficient with sushi nori, from your garden to your sushi mat.
